Craigslist, good, bad, other?

So, I've decided that as a poor law student I need another source of income beside what I get paid at my crappy job on the weekends, so I thought I should list some stuff I don't need/like/want on Craigslist.

Of course, being a Craigslist virgin I am looking for suggestions, horror stories and the like. Or the answers to a few questions like: Should I only accept cash? Should I really meet these people in person to deliver what I am selling? (And why does this sound like a drug deal?)

I know someone out there has an answer...
