If The Glove Doesn't Fit....
In a sad note from the legal world today, Johnnie Cochran has passed away. The legal world has been deprived of one of it's most extraordinary characters, and OJ Simpson has been deprived of legal counsel for his future crimes. Who else could possibly convince a jury that "The Juice" didn't kill Nicole Brown?
C'mon... we all remember the high speed chase and listening to Judge Ito on the radio during high school, it was quite obvious to the public that OJ did it, but Cochran... he had magic. And an incompetent D.A. And a racist detective. And tainted DNA evidence....
Of course this is not an occasion to ruminate about the defects in the jury system, this is a day to remember a legal legend. Let us all raise our glasses in honor of a great man who has passed.

Ok, now let's try to steal some of his brilliance for mock trial... if the tie rod was cut... you must acquit. Doesn't have quite the same ring to it, but I'll work on it a bit and get back to you.
